today morning i got something really easy to do
sorted out tin cans
then pasted newspapers all over
as the anti-spy measurement
but something tragic happened
as usual i turned on the radio
but within a minute
someone turned it off
cos they complained it is too noisy
then the chair came
asking how come it is so quiet
so she turned the radio on again
then someone told her don’t
cos it’s noisy and distracting
“why this year raggers are so weird”, she said
gosh, i can’t work without the music
i will die of boredom
afternoon continue skinning the milk jug
at night the 3 costume stylists were here to help
more housekeeping, sweeping
drifting and drifting
till almost two in the morning
more ex-raggers were here to guide too
what’s skinning the milk jug about
the jug was constructed from metal & wood
we skin it by adding rattan as support
then paste cardboard all over
but the pasting must be seamless, smooth
construction of a platform
in the process of skinning too

yesterday came back at almost two right
but the guys left later
because there were something wrong
with the measurement with the platform
so they dismantled everything
new rule:
everyone should left together everyday
as a team
but we were given permission to leave early
and had confirmed we got nothing else for the day
cut a donut of 2.3 m diameter
out of thick wood
thanks to skilful Andrew…
he took the cutting job
i learnt how to make a ruler out of wood stick
afternoon slacked around
helping with platform
construction and
reinforcement of the stability
time passed very fast
when got people to joke around
to discuss how to slack around
first everyone together supper
a miserable tiny piece of Prata
for 30 people, the budget for each supper is
$ 10…..
i gave my portion to Leonard
but i don’t think it’s enough to feed him
and everyone was introduced to a cute little bowl
with own’s name on top
too bad mine is yellow…
with supper, it’s expected that the day
gonna last longer
3 a.m.
but bless me
i got to listen to songs quite consistently over the day
besides I am like a bird,

morning did skinning the platform
thank god Chung Siang was doing the drilling
so my job was still bolting the wood
afternoon continued with the work
but everybody was tired
kinda slow moving
i tried to use power drill
and even drill too
but i think i was spoiling the wood
continued on the platform skinning
till night
then started to skin the top of
the picnic box
the so called picnic box
can fit in ten people i think
but the pro girls took over
they were too skilful
i turned to do
anti-spy stuff
reinforced the black cloth
surrounding rag area
the debrief today
i was assigned to house-keeping IC
together with Leonard
sounds ridiculous
but that’s what i been enjoying,
don’t I

today painted the platform white
then continue with skinning the little cups
the cups are very cute
they actually look like chairs
if turned upside down
then aftnoon went on to skin the little cups
but the challenge was imposed to us
when we need to skin the inner side of the cup too
because cup is not a whole big chunk
just like the milk jug
night supposed to continue skinning the cups
thanks to Leonard,
dragged me to help him with the well
did reinforcement for the well
this is the first time i use portable drill
as if i know how to use it
my chief engineer, Yong Yeik
gave me some tips too
cool, finally i know how to operate
a power tool
my Vietnamese colleague,
he is the one always turned the radio softer
but today surprisingly
twice he went turned on the radio louder
because it’s his fav song
can’t believe it
one of it is Ska8er Boy
did miscellaneous things
ended with sweeping

today morning did skinning of the cup
the thing turned out very bad
then had to take off and redo in the aftnoon
result is out today
gosh, it’s disastrous

i am not happy at all

then continue skinning the cup

although starting late,
i still woke up at seven
watched Barney n Friends
then did something sampat
the one advantage about starting at 11
on a Saturday
is that can catch Disney Cartoon on TV3
i still prefer Malaysian Tv
today i got mass production job
just paste and cut paperbox
very relaxing
discussing dramas with XiaoDan
today Chung Siang very sad looking
